How we work
An overview is only as good as its sources. Every figure on this site links to a source, and every model shows the date it was last checked.
What we include
- Campers based on a battery-electric vehicle that can be bought, ordered or pre-ordered, or that are officially announced.
- Factory campers and conversions, including small series. Range-extender vehicles are marked separately.
- Camping boxes and equipment packages are listed but do not count as campers and carry a “box/package” label.
- Concepts only if they are recent and widely searched. Plug-in hybrids, caravans and pickup campers are not included.

- Shown as a concept, no production plan confirmed

- No longer sold new
Status applies per country. Cards show the best status across all countries.
Sources and checks
- Maker information comes before trade press, trade press before blogs. Media often round figures; the maker’s figure takes precedence.
- For every figure we store the verbatim quote from the source. A second, independent reviewer reads the source again and replaces paraphrases with the original wording.
- Anything not documented is shown as “not published”. We do not estimate.
Check status per camper (28 campers, excluding boxes and packages):
- Verified (9): status and price confirmed by a source from the last twelve months.
- Status unconfirmed (15): newest source older than twelve months, or the maker’s site was unreachable.
- Conflicting (4): sources give different prices or dates.
Prices and currencies
Prices are shown in the currency in which they were published, with VAT note and date. For filters and sorting we convert at the European Central Bank reference rate (as of 30 Oct 2026). “Conversion only” prices (vehicle not included) and prices for boxes and packages are excluded from price comparisons.
Images
We show photos from manufacturers and converters (labelled “Manufacturer image”, with a link to the source) and freely licensed photos from Wikimedia Commons with author and licence on the image. If a photo shows the combustion-engined sister model, the caption says so. Where there is no photo of the camper, we show the base vehicle, clearly labelled, or a drawing of the roof type. No AI images.
Independence
No maker or converter pays for inclusion or placement. The order follows availability and price.

All data is available as JSON for free use (CC BY 4.0, credit “EV Camper Guide”): evcampers.json.
